What Is Furniture Removal?
Furniture removal in Toronto covers sofas, sectionals, bed frames, dressers, dining sets, and armoires - priced by load volume using a quarter, half, or full truck. Every booking uses a WSIB-compliant two-person crew with 4-wheel furniture dollies, moving blankets, and hardwood floor protection. Reusable furniture is assessed on-site and routed to Furniture Bank Toronto or Habitat for Humanity ReStore - both registered Ontario charities - with the remainder sent to Ontario Ministry of the Environment eco-certified transfer stations.
The City will take some furniture at the curb on collection day, but only in limited quantities, only on the right week, and only if you can get it out there yourself. That last part is where most people stop. A sectional does not go down a condo stairwell on its own, and a solid oak dresser is a genuine two-person lift. That two-person lift is exactly what our crews are staffed for on every junk removal booking across Toronto and the GTA, so nothing has to reach the curb before we arrive.
We do the whole thing. The crew comes to the room the furniture is standing in, protects the route, dismantles anything that needs it, and carries it out. You never touch the piece.

Common Problems We Solve
It Will Not Fit Through The Door
Furniture that came in flat-packed rarely comes out whole. We carry the tools to take apart bed frames, sectional sofas, and modular shelving on site, then carry the pieces out individually. This is included, not an extra.
The Building Has Rules
Condo and apartment buildings across Toronto want the dock booked, the elevator reserved, and a Certificate of Insurance filed before anything moves. We handle that coordination with the concierge or property manager, usually the day before, so the job is not turned away at the door.
It Is Too Good To Dump
A lot of the furniture we collect has years left in it. Rather than sending it to landfill by default, we set usable pieces aside and route them to Furniture Bank and Habitat ReStore, both of which supply GTA families furnishing a home from scratch. Where the charity issues a receipt, we pass it on to you.
There Is More Than One Piece
Downsizing, staging a home for sale, or clearing after a family move usually means several rooms at once. Because we price by the load rather than by the item, taking the whole lot in one visit is almost always cheaper than three separate pickups.
What It Costs
Furniture is priced by the space it occupies in the truck. A single chair or small table sits at our $49 to $89 minimum. A bedroom set or a sofa plus a few side pieces usually lands in the $89 to $149 quarter-truck band. A full living and dining room, or the contents of a staged home, typically runs $199 to $279.
